(November of each year is an exception due to the State EMS Conference in Texas which is followed by Thanksgiving.) Each student is required to attend practice sessions and then demonstrate proficiency on all skills, which will require two of these sessions at a MINIMUM. When the student is ready for testing, he/she should also be ready for Final Exam and clinical orientation at that session. Students MUST prepare for the practice and testing sessions in advance by studying any and all skills videos and skills sheets available in the course. Students should bring copies of these skills sheets with them to review during the training sessions.
Students who successfully complete this program are eligible to sit for the National Registry certification examination for EMT-Intermediate 85 level.
