Helen Lacy - Instructor

In addition to serving as an Educator for
TechPro Services, Helen Lacy is employed
as Clinical Educator for Brownwood Regional
Medical Center. Her background is in Nursing
and she has served in Women’s and Children’s
Services for over 20 years.
Helen graduated with a degree in Nursing
from Angelo State University in Angelo,
Texas . Her main experience is in Nursery,
but she has also served as Nurse Manager
of Mother Care and Nursery. Before joining
BRMC, Helen served for eight years as educator
for Women’s and Children’s Services
at Hendrick Medical Center. Women’s
and Children’s Services included Labor
and Delivery, Nursery (Normal newborn, Intermediate
Care and Maximum Care), Postpartum, Gynecology,
Gynecologic oncology, Pediatrics, Pediatric
Intensive Care, Skilled Nursing Unit and
Hendrick Center for Extended Care.
Helen is certified by the International
Board of Certified Lactation Consultants,
and is a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator,
NCC certified in low risk nursery, Certified
Newborn Infant Massage Instructor, and is
a Regional Trainer for the Neonatal Resuscitation
Program.
Helen is an Instructor of Basic Life Support,
First Aid/CPR, Pediatric Advanced Life Support,
Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and is a Safe
Sitter Instructor.
