Bloodborne Pathogens Awareness Course Syllabus

The student shall identify the following:

• The meaning of Universal Precautions
• What to do if your PPE becomes contaminated with body fluids
• The doorways that potential infections can enter the body
• The ratio of mixing water to bleach for disinfecting
• Minimum PPE required to protect from bodily fluids
• Modes and ways the body can come in contact with infectious diseases
